On June 21, 2025, we stepped through downtown Lexington, KY and picked up litter along the way. Lexington is the second largest city in Kentucky with about 320,000 people. It’s known worldwide as the Horse Capital of the World and is also famous for its bourbon and bluegrass heritage. Downtown is where you’ll find Rupp Arena, the Fifth Third Tower, fountains, and parks.
