On June 16, 2025, we stepped through Frankfort’s Thorobred Trail and picked up litter along the way. The trail is about 0.8 miles long and was built on a former rail line. It connects downtown Frankfort to Kentucky State University. Today, it’s a quiet path with steep grades where students and residents often walk between town and campus.
