On June 29, 2025, we stepped through downtown Lexington, KY at night and picked up litter along the way. Lexington is the second largest city in Kentucky, home to around 320,000 people. It’s known worldwide as the Horse Capital of the World and also for its bourbon and bluegrass heritage. Downtown glowing at night features landmarks like Rupp Arena, the Old Fayette County Courthouse, and plenty of lit-up streets and skyline views.
