On July 8, 2025, we stepped through The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky and picked up litter as we went. This 100-acre garden on the University of Kentucky campus includes the “Walk Across Kentucky,” rose gardens, horticultural displays, and a children’s garden. It’s a peaceful green space where people come to explore plants, walk paths, and enjoy quiet moments.
