On July 6, 2025, we stepped through Craigs Creek Group Area in Kentucky’s Daniel Boone National Forest and picked up litter along the way. It’s a tent-only campground with fire rings, picnic tables, and a big open field where groups can gather. Tucked in the woods near Laurel River Lake, it’s a quiet spot people use for camping, hiking, and hanging out together.
